The accommodation is located 1½ miles (2.5km) from Terminals 1 & 3 at London Heathrow Airport – and we are 7 miles to Terminal 4, just over 10 mins by car, and to Terminal 5 it’s 5 miles, 10 mins by car.

We are 1.5 miles or 4 mins from Stockley Business Park by car.

Taxi from Heathrow Airport

On arrival at Heathrow phone our local Taxi company 247 Cars on 01895 247 247. 247 are cheaper than Uber and will take payment by card, if requested when booking

  • Terminals 1, 2 & 3 should incur a fare of approx £8.00
  • Terminals 4 or 5 cost around £11.00.
  • For a party of 3 persons or more with lots of luggage, request 247 Cars to send an MPV vehicle.
  • All drivers should wear a photo identity badge, and have a Green X in the front window.

Driving Instructions from M25/ M4, J4, Heathrow/ Direction

From the M4 leave the Motorway very rapidly at Junction 4, Uxbridge A408/ Heathrow.

Navigate your way to Oakwood B&B

  • Stay in left-hand lane and concentrate as this part is quite easy to get wrong; take the second left at busy traffic light, roundabout complex into Cherry Lane – with left-pointing arrow towards West Drayton, in front of the Crowne Plaza Hotel and with Novotel to your left.
  • Cherry Lane turns into Sipson Road, continue driving & go straight at the 2 sets of traffic lights after parade of shops on left, into Station Road.
  • Past the Tesco Express on the right, and Drayton Hall country house. After St Martin’s Vet on the left, and a red Texaco Garage on the right, you will see Oakwood Guest House – next to the “Six Bells” Pub to the right.

 

Road Directions from M40 Uxbridge Direction

1. Head east on M40 toward Exit 1 171 ft

2. At junction 1, exit toward Slough/A412/Uxbridge/A4020 0.4 mi

3. Turn right onto Denham Roundabout/A40
Continue to follow Denham Roundabout
Go through 1 roundabout 0.2 mi

4. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Oxford Rd/A4020
Go through 1 roundabout 1.2 mi

5. Turn left onto Cross St/A4020 423 ft

6. Turn right onto Cowley Rd 105 ft

7. Turn right onto Cowley Rd/A4020
Continue to follow Cowley Rd 0.9 mi

8. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto High St/A408
Continue to follow High St
Go through 1 roundabout 1.7 mi

9. Continue onto Station Rd
Destination will be on the left

Parking – Free with Overnight Stay

  • Parking is limited to 1 vehicle per room, with with limits on numbers of vehicles for group bookings, and £10 extra per night for vans or trucks
  • Limited gated parking available behind the B&B building
  • Some parking available roadside at the front.
  • All parking as available so first-come, first-served; if full, there are single yellow lines on side roads where you can park after 17.00 until 9.00
  • To access gated area: turn into Brandville Road, then turn right again, into Bellclose Road & then immediately right, to the mesh gate of Car Park.
  • Please ring the Front Door Bell as you pass – or call us on 01895 466 554, to have the Car Park gate opened up for you.

Arriving by Bus from Heathrow Airport

Terminals 1, 2 & 3:

  • Take the U3 bus from stand 18 at the Heathrow Central Bus Station, close to Terminals 1, 2 and 3.
  • Get off at the ‘G’ stop on Ferrers Avenue, just past the red ‘Wine Cellar’ shop on Station Road.
  • Walk back along Station Road and cross over at the traffic lights, walk over Brandville Road and we are on the left just before the Six Bells pub.
  • It will cost a few pounds, and there are 5 buses every hour, running from early morning to late at night.

Terminal 4:

  • Take the courtesy bus to Terminal 1 and then take the U3 bus, as described above.

Terminal 5:

  • Take the red 350 bus to Hayes/ ASDA, from stand 6 to the left as you come out of Terminal 5.
  • Get off at the Church Road bus stop, Stop K – Please note: this is a request stop, you will need to ring the bell inside the bus otherwise they may not stop!
    It is just by the small West Drayton Library.
  • Walking away from the Library, cross over Station Road and pass the Six Bells pub and we are just beyond the pub on the right.

By Train from London Paddington

Paddington Station is on these Underground tube lines: Bakerloo, Circle and District, and Hammersmith & City, and has overland trains.
Take the overland train from Paddington to West Drayton: it may leave from any Platform, but typically 9-11, 14 or 12, and the typical destinations are Reading and Oxford, but may be to Maidenhead or ​​Banbury. Duration under 25 mins.

  • From the station to Oakwood is under 5 mins walk:
  • Head to the Warwick Road exit, walk away from the Station and turn right at the T-Junction, onto Warwick Road
  • Walk up Warwick Road to Station Road and turn left
  • Walk along Station Road over Brandville Road and we are on the left
